The hotel was nicely appointed and immaculately clean. The location is very good with great views. The room we stayed in was very good and the public rooms in the hotel were very comfortable. The hotel gardens were very good.
Some minor niggles with the extractor in the bathroom and one of the lights not working. The pre-arranged hotel transport did not meet us at the airport and no explanation was made.

Location very close to lovely sand as the tide goes out, the Ocean's restaurant and walking areas. Tasty and satisfactory breakfast option with beans and a beautiful view of stunning sunrise, for example.

The hotel looks a bit tired in places and would benfit from some refurbishment.

The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent and a good choice of wine.
They had open fires but these were not lit. It would have made my lunch in the lounge all the more cosy.

Good accommodation, and great value food during Tennerfest. A very convenient location outside St Peter Port providing you have a car.
Tennerfest is great value, but it does restrict the menu choices and portion sizes, only really noticable and did become annoying after several days. Hotel assume no-one wants the A la Carte menu. Do not expect a quick breakfast - service was very relaxed compared to very efficient dinner service.

Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. View from terrace and grounds was excellent.
Sauna did not appear to work properly. The cocktail bar under our room was quite noisy at night.

Beautifull Hotel. Well Maintained Nice Location
Our Room was lovely but the bathroom was a letdown because there was no shower. There was a shower head but you could not stand up and enjoy it. My wife and I had to take it in turns to direct the water over each other while holding the shower head in our hands. Very very disapointing for a room costing so much.
